Do you recognize this person?
It is Anna Catojo! Anna is a graduate from the Child and Youth Care Program at Red River College and has been working at Macdonald Youth Services as a Youth Care Practitioner for the last 14 years.
She works in our Adolescent Resources in Community Homes - WorkForce Venture (WFV) Program, a work training program for youth who are having a difficult time maintaining a full time academic workload or are at risk of dropping out of school.
In partnership with the school system, WFV provides academic and practical supports that encourage youth to stay in school. Offering youth a part-time, paid, supervised work experience; this structured program is designed to help students develop a sense of community, meet their individual needs, and provide an opportunity to develop employment and life skills.
This bus bench featuring Anna is located at Osborne and Stradbrook (beside the fire station).
