Manitoba Construction Industry Supports MYS
In the July 15, 2015 edition of the Manitoba Heavy Construction Association newsletter, Macdonald Youth Services (MYS) is featured on the front page. The Manitoba Heavy Construction Association (MHCA) and the Manitoba Construction Sector Council (MCSC) came together to participate in the “Group of Five’ Program where construction companies and organizations were encouraged to donate five pieces of Personal Protective Equipment to Macdonald Youth Services, Life Train Program.
The Life Train Program is an employment program that supports adult participants 18-29 years of age to overcome barriers, develop their life skills and to obtain meaningful employment.
MYS is also thrilled to announce that PCL Construction, Bird Construction and Stuart Olson also got on board and participated in the ‘Group of Five’ Program.
Thank you to all the construction companies and organizations who generously donated to the MYS Life Train Program. This donation will make a huge difference in helping participants to obtain employment in the construction industry.
