The Home Depot Canada Foundation is Helping End Youth Homelessness by Supporting MYS

As part of its commitment to help end youth homelessness in Canada, The Home Depot Canada Foundation launched it own Orange Door Project fundraising campaign last week.

MYS is honoured that we were selected as the recipient of the proceeds that are raised during the campaign at Winnipeg Home Depot locations. Between May 28 and July 2, people shopping at these locations will have the opportunity to donate $2.00 at check out in exchange for a paper orange door.

The proceeds will go directly to the MYS Youth Resource Centre/Shelter Program (YRC) which offers 24-hour short-term emergency shelter and basic needs walk-in resource services to youth 12-17 years of age. The Youth Resource Centre also offers referral, advocacy, resources, information and short-term basic needs services to youth 12-21 years of age.

On behalf of MYS, a 'BIG THANK YOU" goes out to The Home Depot Canada Foundation for all their support!
