Full Time Senior Youth Care Practitioner

SUMMARY: Macdonald Youth Services requires an experienced Senior Youth Care Practitioner (SYCP) within the Youth Resource Centre (YRC). The SCYP is responsible for providing shelter, crisis intervention, client case decisions and planning, as well as basic needs service provision to at-risk youth, in an emergency shelter setting from a strength-based clinical philosophy.  The SYCP is also responsible to oversee the team’s decisions and interactions on shift, and support and supervise the development of the YCPs in a strength-based manner.  The SYCP is expected to work together with other teams in the best interest of client’s and the overall mission and purpose of the program.

SALARY RANGE: $36,080 - $54,120 d.o.q. per annum.  MYS offers a competitive benefit package and pension plan.

HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, Days, 7:00am-3:00pm).
