Casual Respite Workers - Kisewatisiwin (Thompson, MB)

Macdonald Youth Services requires experienced Respite Workers (RWs) within the Northern Alternative Parent Homes (APH) service area in Thompson, MB. RWs are responsible for providing respite care and support for children/youth placed within the APH/PM Program in conjunction with the needs of their foster parents.  The respite worker is identified as the safe role model and provides support for the child/youth in making healthy decisions and life choices.

SALARY RANGE: $11.55-$13.00 per hour plus a Northern allowance equal to an additional five percent (5%) of the salary.


HOURS OF WORK: In a casual position there is no guarantee of hours – shifts include a variety of days, evenings and weekends.
