This year we were selected as the charity of choice for the Winn-City Pub Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Bridges Golf Course. We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better group of golfers. Everyone was ready to go at the 10 am shot gun start, and the day ran very smoothly. With numerous samples and prize holes, the day was fun and exciting.
A buffet dinner followed at Winn-City Pub where each golfer received a participation prize and the draws for major prizes were done. The Pub was buzzing with the excitement of the day and yet another chance to win more great prizes.
Our thanks go out to Mike and Lena for choosing us to be this year’s charity, to the organizing committee, Alice, Melissa and Warren under the guidance of James Roy of Hackers and Smackers, for a well-run event and to the volunteers, without them we would not have been able to make the day such a huge success.
Finally, a big thank you to all of our sponsors and to each and every golfer – you truly have made a difference!
