After 41 Years of Stellar Service, Roy Seib is Retiring from MYS
April 25, 2008

Roy Seib – the very name evokes snapshots from four decades at MYS, as well as warmth and kindness. MYS bids a fond farewell to our longest-serving employee.

Twenty –two years ago, the Work Force Venture program was conceived by Roy. He is the person who represents us in the community on most days of the year, as he supports youth completing jobs for individuals and business in various neighbourhoods throughout Winnipeg. He is the person who knows our history and is able to share it verbally wit youth, Board members, foster parents and employees alike. He is the person who set the example and then mentors all of us in our attempts to live the values of our founder, Sir Hugh John Macdonald – respect, fairness, kindness and honesty.

After 41 years of stellar service, you are invited to wish Roy Seib a fond farewell on April 25, 2008 (2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., 175 Mayfair Ave.) as he retires from MYS.

Share your memories with Roy at his Retirement Reception in song, skit, photo or poetry.
